KB Kookmin bank(Yoon Jong-gyu, president of the bank) makes a contract with the Minister of National Defense(Han Min-gu) on 21st for 'Installing small library with a service family'.

KB국민은행(은행장 윤종규/www.kbstar.com)은 21일 국방부(장관 한민구)와'군인가족과 함께하는 작은도서관 설치·운영'을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

Through this contract, KB Kookmin bank and the Ministry of National Defense cooperate to build up the 'small library' for soldiers who is in hardship tour so that they enlarge the chance of enjoying culture, sharing knowledge of soldier's children and fostering of emotion.

이번 협약을 통해 KB국민은행과 국방부는 격오지 부대에 근무하는 군 장병들을 위한 문화 향유 기회 확대와 군인 자녀들의 지식공유 및 정서함양에 기여할 수 있는‘작은 도서관’조성에 상호 협력할 방침이다.

문화 소외 지역인 격오지 부대 관사 내에 조성될‘작은도서관’은 국방부에서 후보지를 추천받아 선정되며, KB국민은행은‘작은도서관’운영이 활성화 될 수 있도록 신간도서 제공, 독서·문화 프로그램 등을 지원할 계획이다.
